2nd Revision of Floor Plan

After several conversations, Dad decided not to go ahead with installing the half-bath in the Laundry Room at this time ... "it can be done later if it becomes necessary."  However, we are still showing the addition of a door for the guest suite, as it is a relatively inexpensive improvement which will be nice for whoever stays in one or both of the guest rooms in the meantime.

NOTE:  Of course ALL of this is to be approved by Dad.

Don suggested more exercise bars at the front of the house, which I have added to the floor plans.  He also suggested angled grab bars at each place where this is a step ... front door, garage door, back door ... all good ideas.

Additional improvements could include replacing all doorknobs with levers.

Other comments:

We may remove the padding from underneath the existing carpeting, to make tripping less likely for Mom.  Indoor/Outdoor, or other thin-but-sturdy carpeting will be added to the kitchen, breakfast room, entry, and Master Bathroom.

The toilet in the Master Bathroom needs to be replaced with a taller version.  The tub needs to be replaced with a handicap-compliant shower and fixtures.
